Akshay Raj Singh Rathore, is a visual artist based in between India and France since 2013. The artist, with a profound understanding of rural culture and ecological living rooted in his upbringing in a farming family in Central India, presents a unique and critical reading on the dialectics of Food & Labour, Migration & Borders, and Land & Civilization. His work addresses significant environmental and social issues, focusing on soil health, water conservation, food production and distribution, and building sustainable communities.
