There are about 3664 Commission Agents/Wholesalers in regulated market & the purpose of regulation is to ensure orderly marketing to safeguard the interests of both producers/sellers and consumers by eliminating various malpractices like under-weighment, short payment, delayed payments, unauthorised deductions & indulgence of too many intermediaries. The aim is to ensure economic. legal and infrastructural conditions conducive to competitive marketing.

Coming out of the Metro you will notice a strange elongated building, one fast architectural work, still looks organized and clean. Its is Himachal Pradesh Farmers's training center.

Narrow lanes approaching the Mandi are busy with peripheral activities, like here this boy is busy peeling garlic, which is a major supply to non-beg restaurant across North Delhi
Busy activity in the Mandi, everyone is buying, selling, transporting, cleaning, talking, discussing, planning, telephoning all on the go

The uglier side of things turn up here

the slush of greens, most fertile, but most nauseating too!!
Need Bulldozers to clean the mess!
